What Does This Do

Flush native Lambda DSM checkpoints, including the current bucket, before returning from handler instrumentation. Bound the wait to one second and retain interruption/failure reporting.

Motivation

Give Java-owned DSM data a chance to reach existing transport before Lambda freezes the runtime.

Additional Notes

A timeout cannot guarantee delivery or cancel an in-flight request. No lifecycle acknowledgment is involved. Proxy duplicate-consumption ownership and deployed freeze/delivery checks remain rollout blockers.

Validation: Revised complete stack: 513 focused core tests, 12 forked Lambda tests and 40 handler tests passed; the handler total includes two zero-lifecycle-HTTP cases. Independent P3 lifecycle, P8b DSM and P10 legacy/native boundary checks also passed. Spotless applied. Core validation uses a local init script to omit an unused private container dependency; repository build settings are unchanged. Deployed certification remains pending.
