Hi everyone,
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend username @dakshhhhh16 whose GitHub account was recently suspended without any clear explanation. Email - pathakdaksh1601@gmail.com , daksh.pathak.ug24@nsut.ac.in
He's been an active open-source contributor for quite some time, contributing to projects like Kubescape, OpenSSF Minder, and Google Summer of Code. His account contains a lot of ongoing work, contributions, and mentorship commitments, so this situation has been pretty stressful for him.
The bigger issue is that he hasn't been able to contact GitHub Support at all.
Every time he tries opening the following pages, he gets HTTP ERROR 403: Access Denied:
He has also tried reaching out through email but hasn't been able to get the issue resolved.
We're not asking anyone here to bypass GitHub's policies or make a reinstatement decision. We just want to understand how he can submit a legitimate appeal when the official Support and reinstatement pages themselves are inaccessible.
Has anyone faced something similar? Is there an alternative official way to contact GitHub Support or request a manual review?
Any guidance from GitHub staff or community members would genuinely mean a lot.
Thank you!
